Sport in Our School

We love nothing better than being involved in lots of different sports in our school. 

Our Sports Captains for this year are:

Viv, Isaiah, Reuben, Henry, Dan and Jacob

We have a dedicated Sports Teacher Mr Wood (or Mr W as the children call him) who comes into school every week and teaches each class. We not only use our large  playground but we have a field just up the road that we can use as well. Class Teachers also teach sport and we have sports clubs run by the children at lunchtime as well.

We also belong to the Kingshill School Sports Partnership which provides us with the opportunity to attend different sporting events across the year. For example, Multi-sports for Year 3 and 4, Orienteering, Bee Netball and Tag Rugby and recently the small school's swimming gala.

Mrs Wood also loves to run a Cross Country Club and new for this year, a Dance Club, which has already performed at Cheltenham Town Hall.

We enjoy taking the children out to lots of different sporting events, some they have never tried before such as climbing or gymnastics.
