Our School Council

Congratulations to our new School Councillors for this school year 24-25

What is role the school council?

We help make suggestions about how to improve the school and help other children when they need it.

We also hold fundraising events such as the Pyjama Day for the whole school as well as different events during the year. 

Each member of the school council has a role such as Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Head of Communications and many others. We encourage other childrent to run lunchtime clubs for younger children.

In the previous years the children have surveyed their classes to see what they would like our focus to be. Last year we had lots of brilliant suggestions and in the summer term the school council held a dress down day for donations to the RNLI.

The school council is lead by Mrs Hopkins and already they have met for this year and are gathering suggestions from the classes.
