Forest School

We are so excited to have begun our Forest School journey at Ampney Crucis School. Giving the children the opportunity to take part in Forest School is hugely beneficial in the development of the whole child and enables them to develop essential key life skills:

  • Confidence
  • Resilience
  • Social skills
  • Collaboration and team work
  • Motivation
  • Perseverance
  • Communication
  • Knowledge and understanding of the environment
  • Problem solving
  • Physical development

Currently the Reception and Key Stage 1 children have a weekly session where we follow the Forest School ethos. This enables the children to learn new skills as well as having the opportunity to follow their own interests and continue to work on a project until they have accomplished their desired outcome.

Together we live, learn and flourish

About Us

We may look small from the outside, but we have lovely grounds to explore at the back of our school as well as new library that is the pride and joy of all our school.
