Maple Class Trip to Abbey Home Farm
We had such a brilliant trip to Abbey Home Farm on the 13th March. We loved exploring the farm, going in the poly tunnels, the huge green house and seeing all the plants growing - we even tasted marigold petals, purslane, kale and rocket! We also visited the cows and fed them silage, and saw and learnt how the cows are milked - we even got to drink some fresh milk, it was delicious. We also visited the farm museum and looked at amazing artifacts that were found at the farm including a woolly mammoth tooth, really old coins and badger skulls. What a wonderful morning we all had.
