Willow Class Week 6 Spring 2

Date: 4th Apr 2025 @ 2:01pm

One week to go! We have had another great week in Willow class. We became weather forcasters in Geography looking at the weather, in Music we used clapping to accompany the song 'Who stole the chickens and the hens' and in Computing we looked at sorting shapes by colour and properties. We have begun to write our instructions in English and moved onto fractions and time in Maths.

We have enjoyed:

  • making tracks with the crates and guttering for the cars - George, Felix and Archie, Freddie.
  • Using the playdoh to make shapes - Lilli and Ivy.
  • Learning the 'war' and 'wor' sounds - Archie.
  • Writing a story in our special purple books - Gracie and Bea.
  • Number bonds to 20 - Roberta.
  • Finding thirds of shapes and amounts - Octavia.
  • Writing some stories - Annabelle.
  • Recreating the Easter story in Lego - Esme and Annabelle.

Have a fabulous and sunny weekend! Only 4 more sleeps! Here is some of the amazing learning through play we have done this week!
