Willow Class School blog Autumn 2 Week 5

Date: 5th Dec 2025 @ 12:47pm

Another busy week in Willow. We have been working hard to finalise our nativity. We are nearly there! Please ensure your children know what scenes they are on for and who comes before them in their lines. We have also been getting all Christmassy putting our tree up and making decorations.  Eric the elf has also made an appearance!

In English group 1 have been exploring character descriptions and writing sentences about the features of dragons. Group 2 have been completing their innovations on their own animal capturing machine.

In RE we have explored the parable of the ‘lost coin’ Treasure Champs. 27: Thankfulness - 'The Lost Coin' - BBC Teach and looked at what Christians believe about the value of each other. We have also looked at different celebrations when a baby is born. In DT we practised our cutting and juicing skills in preparation for making our own smoothies. In Computing we created different colourful circles.

We have enjoyed:

 - Colouring my own Christmas decoration - Grey.

  • Rehearsing the nativity - Roberta and Sophie.
  • Writing sentences about dragons in English - Felix.
  • Wearing my funny costume - Archie.
  • Playing angels with my friends - Edie.
  • Trying on all our costumes - Bea.
  • Showing my show and tell to my friends - Daisy-Mai.
  • Watching the story about the lost coin - Szymon.
  • Making a paper strip tree - Gracie.

Have a fabulous weekend!
