Weeks 4 and 5, Term 3

Date: 18th Feb 2024 @ 8:17pm

We had a lot of fun during the last 2 weeks of Spring 1!

In Science, we conducted invesrtigations into how temperature speeds up the melting process, as well as linking our learning about states of matter and heating and cooling processes to the water cycle.

Our sustainable bags made from old t-shirts proved a challenge in the time we had but the children enjoyed upsycling their old clothes, recognising the environmental merits of doing so.

During children's mental health week we wore slippers each day which, although meaning we had to change shoes several times a day, was really comfortable in class!

Our persuasive letters to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak are copied up in neat and ready to be posted off. The children have written some fantastic letters and know that as Greta Thunberg says, "No-one is too small to make a difference."

Together we live, learn and flourish

About Us

We may look small from the outside, but we have lovely grounds to explore at the back of our school as well as new library that is the pride and joy of all our school.
