Week 4

And, just like that, we are already halfway through the term! 

The children have been writing super stories in English using the Y3 and Y4 writing objectives, including subordinate clauses and inverted commas. In maths, we are racing throough the place value unit and have been rounding (Y4) and finding numbers 10 or 100 more and less (Y3). 

In science this week, we investigated magnetic materials and we have been really enjoying tag rugby with Mrs Gardiner, this afternoon.  In RE, the children learned about Pope Francis's letter to the world, 'Laudato Si', which, in 2015, urged all of mankind to look after our 'common home'. They have produced some fantastic work based on this. Likewise, we found out about the mighty Boudicca, in History, and have done a great job in presenting our knowledge about her.
