Term 4 week 3

The children have worked hard on their Spring assessments this week, with some pleasing results, especially in reading. 

Year 4 made great progress with formal written multiplication of 3-digits by 1-digit in maths at the start of the week, and Year 3 did well at learning colours in French for the first time. 

We had a brilliant forensics workshop as part of science week, on Friday. The children worked in groups searching for clues which included matching fingerprints, shoe prints and DNA 'bar codes' to suspects, in order to find out which was the thief! It was a lot of fun and the children worked well in their teams.
