Oak Class
Oak Class has 23 Year 5 and Year 6 children. Mr Pugh is our Teacher and Mrs Collier and Mrs Pawson are our Teaching Assistants. We do lots of exciting topics such as: Castles and Knights, Pirates and Islands and In Living Memory and we often go on great trips linked with them. We also take part in lots of sporting activities and have sent teams to Tag Rugby, Football and District Sports to mention just a few.
As the oldest children in the school we also have lots of other responsibilities. We are Young Leaders at break and lunch times, organising games with the younger children and we are currently working towards an ‘eco-school’ award.In Oak Class we believe in working hard, having fun and always trying our best. This is what some of us think about life in Oak Class:
“We do interesting homework projects like researching Kings and queens.”
