Holiday/Absence Request

Whenever possible you should take family holidays during the school holidays.  If you are unable to arrange this, you will need to request the authorisation of the Head Teacher before taking children out of school during term time.  The school will carefully consider your request and take your child's attendance record into account.  You should not expect the school to agree to a family holiday during term time. Time out for holiday is limited to a maximum of 10 days (20 sessions) in a school year.

A  holiday/absence request form can be downloaded on  this page.  Please read it carefully for further details, and complete and return it to the school office.  The form will be signed by the head teacher and returned to you.
